Jenkins School Staff
Hello, my name is Heather Conway and I am the Director here at The Jenkins School. I have a Bachelor’s of Science in Education from Millersville University and have been teaching for over 16 years. I began my career in Early Childhood Education with a small, private school called Millennium Child Development Center before spending several years with KinderCare Education, Head Start, and Chesterbrook Academy. In all of these centers I filled the roles of Preschool teacher, Pre-K teacher, Third Tier Administrator, and Assistant Principal and gained a working knowledge of Keystone STARS and NAEYC.
I currently reside in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where I have spent most of my life. I am a graduate of Manheim Township High School and Millersville University. In my free time I enjoy reading, cooking, visiting historical sites and museums, spending time with my 6-year-old nephew Evan, and watching football (Go Ravens!). I am so excited to be part of this dedicated and passionate education team!

I taught Second and Fourth grade in York. I also worked at Manheim Township School District for ten years as a classroom aide.
My husband and I live in Lancaster County. I have two grown sons who are married and I have three grandchildren. Some things that I enjoy are camping with family, singing, readying books, sewing and working in my vegetable and flower gardens.
My name is Stacy Rogers. I am so excited to be the Pre-K Teacher at The Jenkins School. I am a graduate of Bloomsburg University where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. I also hold a Master’s Degree in Reading. My husband and I live in West Hempfield with our 3 children, Maggie, Elise, & Aaron... and our dogs, Charlie and Scout. In my spare time I love to read, spend time with family and friends, and work on my children’s book that I am currently writing. My name is Ellen Collison and I am honored to be a part of each child's learning experience at The Jenkins School and look forward to seeing the wonder in their eyes when they learn something new. I am a D.C. native but love living in Lancaster County. I graduated from Cedarville University with an Elementary and Special Education certifications. I've been teaching for the past thirty years from 3 year-olds to second grade. Fifteen of those years were in Kindergarten. It has been a privilege to share in the lives of children over so many years and watch them grow and explore and discover the world around them.
I am very involved in my church and am part of the choir and in the past a part of a worship team. My husband and I have been blessed with three wonderful sons.
Hi everyone! I am the Preschool teacher at The Jenkins School. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Bloomsburg University in 1995, and I have been working with children in a classroom setting for over 25 years. I have been at The Jenkins School since 2016 and worked as an aide in the Preschool room, was an After School Care teacher, and a Summer Camp teacher.
I was born and raised in Lititz PA, where I still live with my husband Jeremy, and our 2
sons, Jordan and Derek.
In my free time I enjoy taking bicycle rides with my husband. We enjoy doing little day trips and exploring new bike trails around PA and nearby states. I also love to spend time with my niece, Naya and my 3 nephews Ka, Trey and Soren. I am looking forward to this school year. It will be an educational, rewarding, and most importantly FUN, year!
Art and Music
I am the Art and Music teacher at Jenkins. I am a graduate of Millersville University with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education, and I have been teaching for over 12 years. I started teaching music at Jenkins in 2010, and excitedly began teaching art in 2011. I love encouraging my students to explore self-expression through creativity and hands-on learning. During the school year I look forward to MusicFest, our all school music performance and Evening of the Arts, where we display over twenty amazing art pieces from each student.
My three children are former students of Jenkins and love helping Mom try new activities for the classroom. I also love to read, travel with my family and play and teach stringed instruments.
